Department of Psychology, Yale University

The Department of Psychology at Yale University invites applications for an open rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) faculty position with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025, to be situated within the department’s Developmental Psychology area. We are particularly interested in scholars who add breadth to our existing developmental offerings while effectively integrating with our generally cognitive approach. In addition to traditional developmental topics and approaches, we will also consider researchers whose work addresses fundamental questions about cognition in other animals (e.g., non-human primates, canids, cephalopods, or insects). Priority will be given to outstanding scholars who contribute effectively to both undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring and who are ready to conduct a generative research program. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Developmental Psychology.

The appointee must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in psychology or a related field by date of hire.
