Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, beginning August 1, 2025.

 

The Psychology Division offers five graduate programs: an APA-accredited Psy.D. program, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in working with Latinx communities, an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis, and an M.A. in Psychology. Our students reflect the diverse mosaic of Southern California, with over forty percent of our student body coming from ethnically diverse populations. Pepperdine places a high priority on sustaining a multiculturally competent faculty and encourages applications from candidates who will enrich and contribute to diversity at Pepperdine.

 

The faculty position will involve primary assignment to a Pepperdine graduate campus in West Los Angeles, Irvine, Calabasas, or Malibu, CA. Applicants with areas of scholarly and professional activity that include children and youth, marriage and family therapy, evidence-based treatment, and substance abuse are of particular interest for this position.  The applicant should also be licensed or license eligible as a Psychologist, MFT, or PCC. Tenure track faculty are also expected to develop a productive research program.
