Department of Psychology, Sarah Lawrence College
Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for one-semester or one-year, part-time guest faculty position(s) in psychology in fall 2024 and/or spring 2025. Strengths in adult and/or child clinical psychology, neuroscience, developmental psychology, positive psychology, and/or cultural and global perspectives are particularly welcome.
These positions include teaching both undergraduate and master’s level graduate students in both small lecture and small seminar classes at both the introductory and more advanced level. In addition, we expect that some courses might involve supervising students doing course related fieldwork in community settings or at our campus laboratory preschool, as well as individual work with students.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, course descriptions for two proposed courses, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a sample of scholarly writing. Please include a consideration of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging in your teaching statement. In addition, applicants should provide the names and contact information for three professional references.
A doctorate in psychology or an allied field is preferred. Increased consideration will be given to candidates with a record of effective college-level teaching and experience guiding undergraduate research projects.

Compensation listed for this position is on a per-course basis, contingent on teaching experience.
Salary: $10,500 to $14,000.
