Infant Behavior and Development
In celebration of the first 25 years into the 21st Century, we invite review manuscripts for a special issue on A Quarter Century Review of Research on Infant Behavior and Development. Reviews should provide an overview of a specific topic or area of study related to infant behavior and development and include what we have learned from the last 25 years, highlight important discoveries, and note where our focus should be looking toward the next 25 years. Reviews will synthesize critical research conducted in that area in the past quarter century (i.e., limited to research that was published from 2000 through 2025) and provide recommendations for how to direct future research in a particular area of infant behavior and development. It is also possible to feature areas that emerged at some time during this time period, and reviews can highlight the origins of this topic area, research to date, and future directions. These brief synthesized reviews do not need to take a specific form and will be limited to 3,000 to 5,000 words (not including figures or tables). See https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/infant-behavior-and-development/about/call-for-papers#a-quarter-century-review-of-research-on-infant-behavior-and-development for more information and the guest editor team.
