CADDRA’s 22st Annual ADHD Conference is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8th at The Westin, Ottawa. This meeting is planned as an in-person event. Submissions must be made through the online abstract submission portal on the conference website. The deadline for abstract submission is May 15, 2026. . The deadline is firm; extensions will not be granted.
Sessions at the CADDRA conference should provide objective information or teach skills related to ADHD diagnosis or care. Date should be based on scientific methods accepted in the medical community. Sessions will be in English only. General instructions
• Final abstract submission deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026
• Presentation types include breakout sessions and symposia. Posters can be submitted for ADHD Research Day, see separate Research Day Call for Abstracts.
• Each submission must include a title, three learner-centered objectives, an abstract of 250 words maximum and indicate target audience, topic category and indicate how audience needs will be met.
For accepted submissions:
• COIs and slides for committee review must be provided in advance of the meeting (deadlines TBD),
• A minimum of 25% of the total presentation time must be allotted for discussion or other interactivity.
• Presenters must bring a laptop computer for use with a projector. If a Mac computer is used, the presenter must bring a connection cord for projector use.
Note: All conference presenters receive one day of complimentary registration (for the day their session takes place). Presenters may register for the other conference day at a one-day registration rate. All conference speakers will also be invited to the Conference Speaker/Member dinner. Travel costs are the responsibility of the presenter.
Submission Types
• Breakout session (60 minutes, including 15 minutes of questions and answers/ interactivity): Conference sessions provide a structured format to cover a topic of interest to healthcare, medical and research professionals working in the field of ADHD. Sessions may be led by one or two presenters.
• Symposium or Panel Discussion (90 minutes (presentation including 25% minimum of questions and answers or interactivity): A symposium provides a structured format to a group of experts wanting to present on a common topic relevant to ADHD. Topics addressed in symposiums will be theme and topic specific and presented at a more comprehensive level with three to four speakers (including the chair) providing their viewpoints and experiences. Symposium topics should engage conference audiences in critical reflection and discussion on key issues and should be evidence-based. The chair should submit an overall abstract outlining the content and format of the session and learning objectives along with a short bio and contact information for symposium participants.
